  I had $325 worth of make up stolen from my room on the last day of a retreat. Techny employees were rude, did not return my calls, and refused to make restitution. The woman I spoke to three times didn't hear me when I reiterated that the items were missing, stolen. During our first conversation, she intimated that I was being dishonest. They claim that nothing happened, and even if it did, they are not responsible. If make up isn't safe in a hotel room, forget bringing your jewelry etc.

  Came here for a conference. Great comfy rooms a lot like a hotel. Staff were great and welcoming. Beautiful chapel. Older building. And you will build muscle on the stairs, but when your legs get tired they have multiple elevators. Would return.

  Based on the lodging, food, and service, I found this retreat house to be lacking. That does not reflect on the Divine Word Missionaries or any spiritual guidance, of whom I have many friends. Perhaps a benefit to this location is that it can handle large groups, however if you have a group of 15 looking for a nice, quiet for your retreat experience I would recommend Marytown or the Bellarmine Jesuit house.
